Well, I must say that I nearly cry when I listen to this song, but not because I suddenly realize the im portance of our earth.XD This song is very soft and touching, KAITO’s voice line in harmonic with the melody makes the song perfect. Also, the lyric reflects the vocaloid’s emotion who were left on earth. In this case, let me do a short summary of this song.

The background of “Waiting in earth” is that the earth had been destroyed by peaple due to serious pollution, human were extinctedby their own hand, only those non-living “things” survived, they are “VOCALOID”, the singing robot. Countless years passed, the earth gradually recover, but vocaloids are unluckily broken since the years they had “live” was togrther with toxic rain, polluted air and other harmful substance which constantly withered their body. In this song, KAITO is the vocaloid who can see the recovered earth with azure sky, blue sea, beautiful flowers and living creatures, but it didn’t last long. His body could no longer withstand the destroyment, finally he dead, on this whole new earth…

It’s absolutely a sad song.(tear)
